2009-10

Sept 26th: Closely fought match for the 1st team eventually losing by 1 to Bath.

Sept 12th: Another win for the 1st team, defeating Skybound 38-36. The 3rd team's campaign of the season was also successful with the demolishing 51-18 win.

Sept 5th: The season is off to a good start for the 1st team with a 25-20 win against Mangotsfield. Unfortunately the 2nd team lost.

We won £100 from Wesport! Genesis Netball Club is committed to developing each season and as such we are keen to ensure that we get the most out of our training sessions.

We were therefore delighted to hear that we had won third prize in a survey we had completed on behalf The West of England Sport Trust (Wesport).

We decided to spend our £100 prize on training equipment, focusing on aids that would allow us to run a comprehensive warm up session, in the style of circuit training, every fortnight. With this in mind we have purchased: 2 Reebok fitness mats, 2 medicine balls, some plastic space markers, an adjustable skipping rope and a speedrope skipping rope.

Genesis Netball Club would like to express our thanks to Wesport.
